Where are you located?
Our store front is located at 223 Marrickville Road Marrickville.
Click and collect is from our warehouse based at 10 Mitchell St Marrickville.
What are your delivery charges?
We currently deliver to all of Australia except Northern Territory, Norfolk Island, Christmas Island, Lord Howe Island and Hamilton Island. If orders are made to these locations we will cancel your order and refund your payment.
Shipping Australia wide is $11.95. Free shipping is offered for all orders over $149.99*.
*Bulky items may incur a bulky item charge at the checkout.
*Brand Partner fulfilled items are exempt from the free shipping promotion. Any item(s) ordered from a brand partner will incur a flat $11.95 shipping fee as the items are dispatched directly from our brand partners warehouse. More information can be found on the product page of each item.
I am having trouble using my discount code
If you're having trouble using a discount code please ensure the current discount code is valid, is not a one time use code and has not expired. Also note that discount codes can not be bundled together or applied to sale items and/or items in the outlet. Do you accept change of mind returns for online orders?
We are happy to accept returns within 30 days from the purchase date. All online returns must returned via our warehouse and you must receive a return form from our online customer service team before returning your products.
Our store front are unable to accept online returns.
For Change of Mind returns, you have an option of either an online store credit deposited into your account for the purchase amount paid excluding any shipping fees or refund for the total amount paid excluding any shipping fees less a $12.00 restocking fee. The online store credit can only be used within 12 months from the date issued online only.
All change of mind returns must be returned in their original condition, unused and unwashed. This means all packaging and labels must be attached. Packaging has to be in original condition (no rips or tears to the plastic/cardboard inserts). Failure to comply by this will result on the goods being returned to you and no credit will be provided.
Due to OH&S Regulations items such as Pillows, Quilts, Mattress Protectors, Mattress Toppers, Blankets, Under blankets & Bath Robes can’t be returned or exchanged.

We currently accept the following payment methods Visa, Mastercard, AMEX, Paypal, Afterpay, Zippay, Openpay, Klarna, Latitude Pay and Humm.
Is it safe to use my credit card on Manchesterfactory.com.au?
Yes, shopping at Manchesterfactory is safe. Our site employs the latest version of Secure Socket Layer Technology (SSL) to encrypt your information and help make sure that only you and Manchesterfactory ever see it. Your credit card information is never fully visible to anyone once your order has been placed or when you store your credit card information in your account. If you are not comfortable using your credit card online we highly recommend PayPal as a safe payment option for online transactions.

Our products are all shipped from our warehouse based in Marrickville NSW.
Our brand partners ship their products from all over Australia.
How long does shipping take?
We endeavor to process orders within 24 hours of being placed however during high peak and sale periods it may take up to 48 hours for orders to be processed.
All weekend orders placed from mid-day Friday to Sunday evening are dispatched on Monday.

Where is my order?
We recommend you follow the steps below before contacting us if your parcel has not arrived yet.
When you purchase from Manchester Factory your email address is allocated to the shipped order.
You will be emailed a shipping notification from Manchester Factory which will include your tracking number and logistic partner details so you may track your parcels journey. You will also be emailed directly from the logistics partner the tracking details as a secondary tracking source. Please use the information in these emails to keep up to date on your parcels journey.
If you have not received any emails with the above information please check your junk mail and confirm if the correct email was provided to us at checkout.
If for some reason your parcel is delayed or missing it is always best to open a direct late parcel enquiry directly with the logistic partner to ensure that your delivery issues are resolved quickly.
My order arrived but its missing an item?
If your order is missing an item its best to check your emails for order updates.
If you have ordered any items from us directly and items that are fulfilled from our brand partners your order would be split into multiple orders.
You will be supplied tracking for each item so that you can track it.
If your order does not contain a split tracking please send an email to customer service email@example.com to assist you further
Are the products on your website also available in store?
No - we have limited items in our store compared to our website. As our range is quite large we unfortunately can not fit the whole range in our store front so we are selective of which items we have in there. If you're after a certain item please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org to check before hand if the item is available in store.
If an item is a brand partner fulfilled item it will not be available in store or our warehouse.
I'm interested in a product however it is out of stock. How can I be alerted for when it will be available again?
If a product is out of stock that you're interesting in please navigate to the product page and click the button "Notify when available". You will be able to input your email, phone number or be alerted by facebook messenger when the product is back in stock.
If I order a pre-order product with products in stock will my order be part shipped?
We do not part ship orders. Orders which consist of in-stock products and pre-order products will be held till the pre-order product has arrived and the whole order will be dispatched.

Are your products Australian made?
Our range of bed sheets are manufactured in either India, Pakistan or China.
This is generally due to the type of weaving machines required for the different fabrics we have manufactured and the process involved in the creation of the material for the sheeting.
Unfortunately, there are no weaving machines here in Australia. All manufacturing for bed sheets is obsolete here and has been for many years. As a company we agree things should be Australian Made and do our best to support the local industry when we can. Unfortunately, some items are just not made in Australian and we do not have the resources as a company to establish manufacturing here ourselves. The costs are simply just too high to do so as you have now seen with what has happened with the Australian motor vehicle industry.
As company we have a code of conduct and an ethical code that we follow to ensure that our manufacture partners tick those boxes. That involves Manchester Factory confirming that the factories we source our products from are not "sweat shops" and meet the global International Organisation for Standardization (ISO Accreditation) standards. We also ensure that the fabrics used are tested to OEKO standards which ensures there are no harmful chemicals are used in the materials to manufacture our products.
We're an Australian family owned business who work very hard at offering great products at competitive prices. If we can source the product line we wish to sell from an Australian manufacturer we do however the product offering of Australian made is limited due to no manufacturing options within Australia.
We would like to highlight that we do sell Australian made pillows, feather down and wool quilts which are available on our website. The brands we sell that have Australian Made products are: Sienna Living, Tontine and Easy Rest.
Is your Duck down ethically sourced?
Our Sienna Living duck feather down quilts are made from ethically sourced Australian down. Our down is by product from Luv a duck based in Nhill VIC. They breed ducks for eating and we source the down and feather from their farm. We then clean and process the down and feathers at our factory in Melbourne and manufacture our beautiful quilts there.
Do you sell king single size quilts?
Unfortunately no. There is no such size in quilts.
We recommend that you use a double size quilt for a king single bed. In doing so you will receive 40cm drop on each side of the bed. The length on all quilts stay the same from single to king being 210cm.
Do you sell crisp hotel quality sheets?
Our recommendation for crisp cotton sheets is the traditional Actil First Line bed sheet range.
The Actil First Line Cotton Sheets are made with a muslin weave and have a been a classic staple in the bedding industry since the 1940’s. Actil sheets are very durable and come with a 5 year / 130 washes wash warranty which make these sheets an eternal favourite.

I have a pillow top on my mattress and the fitted sheet always seems to fling up what do you recommend?
Bed sheets we sell normally come with a 40cm deep skirt. If you require a deeper fitted sheet we do offer mega queen and mega king sizes which are 50cm in depth. We recommend using these sizes than placing a king sheet on a queen bed as the corner seams will not line up perfectly causing an incorrect and loose fit on the mattress.
What are the best sheets to buy that don’t pill and don’t need to much ironing?
Unfortunately this is not a simple answer. Polyester is required in the fabric to prevent crinkling however having polyester in a fabric may increase the chances of pilling. Fabrics such as 100% cotton, bamboo, linen and cotton bamboo blends will all crinkle. Without a polyester component to the fabric construction there is nothing to hold the fabric in a sense providing easy care. Pilling however can be caused by numerous things such as using a top loader with a high spin setting and washing sheets with other fabrics causing rubbing. We always recommend washing sheets separately to help prevent this. Pilling also can be caused by general use such as pj's rubbing against the sheets.
Do you have non-down and feather quilt options?
Yes, we do! On our website we have many different options for winter and all seasons that are not feather down such a wool, microfibre, bamboo and cotton.

What is included in a sheet set?
A sheet set will always include a fitted sheet, a flat sheet and 2 pillowcases (1 pillowcase for single and king single sizes).
What is a combo set?
A combo set is a combination set which excludes a flat sheet normally. It normally includes a fitted sheet and pillowcases only.
What fabrics breathe the best?
We recommend using cotton, linen and cotton bamboo bedding if you're looking for bedding that will breathe and allow the skin to breathe. Natural fibres are best to do this as polyester type fibres tend to trap air pockets in causing the skin to sweat.
Do we sell individual flat sheets?
Generally we do not sell flat sheets separately. You will be required to purchase a sheet set to obtain a flat sheet.
What is cotton rich?
Cotton rich is a term used for fabrics that have a higher component of cotton than polyester. The fabric is a blend. This sort of fabric generally is a CVC fabric which has one side cotton and the other side polyester which differs from traditional cotton/polyester yarn sheeting.
What is pilling?
Some pilling is normal for natural fibres and is not a manufacturing fault.
Pilling is the small little balls that sometimes you may notice on natural fabrics such as cotton and bamboo after you wash or use them.
Pilling is caused by excess heat (washing in hot water or using a hot heat in the dryer), abrasion from continual friction or rubbing (body stubble, long nails, washing with other hard fabrics), and harsh chemicals (detergents, bleach, fabric softener). If you constantly ‘toss-and-turn’ at night, we recommend using a high quality mattress protector or topper under the sheets to reduce friction of the sheets rubbing on the mattress.
So how do you avoid damaging and pilling your sheets?
It’s important for you to care for your new bamboo cotton sheets correctly so that they last and you don’t damage the fabric and cause your sheets to pill.
We recommend that you wash your bamboo cotton sheets in cold water - not doing so may shrink your sheets. It is also very important to wash your sheets separately to anything else to prevent pilling.
Avoid washing your sheets with towels and blankets as this will cause them to pill. Use a mild, liquid, biodegradable detergent. Or, if you prefer powder, make sure it has dissolved before adding your bamboo sheets to the wash. We highly recommend using liquid detergent.
We do not recommend using bleach, as they are usually packed with toxic chemicals. Fabric softener is not necessary with these sheets and not recommended as you may damage the sheets.
We recommend that you line dry your sheets to preserve the fibres. Adding heat may cause shrinkage. If you must use the dryer please use a low heat and a low or gentle tumble cycle.
What is a mattress topper?
A mattress topper is an extra layer of pillow top mattress to make your bed more comfortable and softer. Typically, it can also help in prolonging the life of your current mattress and in relieving pressure points.
