Advetises as washable but way too big to wash in standard domestic washing machine

Hi there, we want to clarify a few things for accuracy. Our Snuggle Comforters are absolutely machine washable, and we stand by that. However, like any high-loft, winter-weight bedding, they do require the appropriate machine capacity to wash properly—this is standard for any quality comforter with substantial filling.

As outlined in our product care guide, we recommend a 7.5kg machine for smaller sizes and a 10kg+ machine for Queen and above. This ensures there’s enough space for the water and detergent to move through the fabric and clean it effectively.

This isn’t misleading advertising—it’s a realistic expectation for a premium, plush comforter that’s designed to replace a doona and cover in one, providing superior warmth, softness, and ease of use.

If your home machine is too small, a quick visit to a local self-service laundromat is a simple and affordable solution—just like you would with any other bulky bedding like wool quilts or duvets.

I bought two of these

A while ago I bought the blue coverlet set which I really loved. So easy to make the bed!! For winter I saw these. I have an old red one that did not go wth my new decor so ordered two One forest green and one blue. Love them both. Warmly and snuggly and go with the two bedrooms perfectly.
