Park Avenue Medallion Cotton Vintage Washed Tufted White Quilt Cover Set

It was purchased as a Christmas present, has not been opened as yet.

I washed this quilt 6 times and STILL COULD NOT stop cotton fibres flying everywhere to the point if you breathed while folding cover you felt your throat was filled with these fibres. You would never be able to put this on your bed as you would breathe those fibres in all night. Beautiful cover but something terribly wrong with the cotton.

The quilt cover I purchased is beautiful but unfortunately it had no buttons/holes or zip at the end so my doona is actually falling out. I'm not sure if that's meant to be normal or faulty?
