How do I clean my floor rug?

• How to clean your floor rug is all going to depend on its construction. The best way to know how to clean your rug is by checking the manufacturer's care guide provided as not all rugs will be machine washable, but hand wash or spot clean only.

How do I store floor rugs?

• Before storing your floor rug be sure to clean the rug as per the manufacturer's care guide. We recommend rolling the rug tightly, as folding the rug may cause creases and damage your rug. 
• We also recommend wrapping your rug in some sort of protective fabric or material particularly if you are storing it for a longer period of time to keep any dust particles or bugs from getting in between the fibres. 
• Be sure to keep your rug in a cool and dry environment. The purpose of this is to prevent any growth of mould, and also, humidity may cause your rug to curl up at the edges. We also advise against storing your rug in an upright position as this may cause the rug to lose its shape. 

Can floor rugs be machine washed?

• We advise that you check with the manufacturer's care instructions to see if your floor rug is machine washable as some floor rugs must be washed by hand or are spot clean only. With any machine washable rug, we recommend using cold water and gentle liquid detergent.
