What is a Flat sheet?

• Traditionally flat sheets also known as top sheets are usually placed above the fitted sheet but beneath the quilt cover/doona cover and blankets. The idea of using a flat sheet is so that the quilt and quilt cover doesn’t need to be washed as often, it is quite often that we hear people no longer use the flat sheet..
